No. The basic course is designed for complete beginners. We start from scratch and progress at your pace. If you've already done a kitesurf course before, we'll adapt to your current level.
Three progressive levels:
1. Kite control on the beach: You learn to fly the kite on the beach, without entering the water, until you have it fully under control.
2. Bodydrag: You enter the water in a wetsuit with a bigger kite, learning to control the power needed to ride.
3. Water start: We add the board and practise the takeoff to glide your first metres on the water.
No, you don’t need to be “in shape,” although it is important to know how to swim and be used to the sea and waves.
We have no fixed schedule because we depend on the wind. Each evening we check the wind forecast and contact all students to confirm the time and beach for the next day.
We move between Tarifa, Conil, Valdelagrana and Puerto Real depending on wind, tide and wave conditions. For safety in summer we also take into account tourist numbers on the beaches, and almost every day we end up in Tarifa, which has a large exclusive zone for schools.
Yes. All equipment (kite, bar, harness, board, wetsuit) is included. You just need to bring comfortable clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen and water to drink.
Payment is daily, at the end of each class. The price depends on the type of course and hours of practice. We accept cash, Bizum, PayPal and Revolut.
Each format is adapted to a different number of people and budgets:
- For 1 person: Private or Intensive
- For 2 people: Semiprivate or Intensive
- For 3-4 people: Group
It depends on the person and conditions. The basic course is usually completed in 3 sessions, though you'll need more practice days to ride safely on your own. The three levels can be done on consecutive days or spread out depending on availability and wind.
With the right learning methodology and experienced instructors, kitesurfing is a safe sport. That's why we always start on the beach until the kite is under control: the first level is specifically designed to build safety reflexes before entering the sea.
There is no maximum age. For minors, parental or guardian authorisation is required, a minimum age of 12 years and a minimum weight of 40 kg, to have the strength and coordination needed to handle the kite.
Since January 2010. We have over 15 years of experience and more than 3,500 students trained on the Cádiz coast.
Yes. All our instructors hold qualifications from the Andalusian Sailing Federation (FAV). We are registered under number AT/CA/00136.
